Brooklyn Brand Brewing - Oktoberfest

Brooklyn Brand Oktoberfest seems a little more of a reddish-brown than the rest of the Oktoberfest beers we've had lately. The foam is not as thick, but a little longer-lasting than I expected, just slightly off-white in color.

The smell is much more appealing than a few of the others too. The aromas show a little hops, a little malt, and maybe just a touch of spice. Once on the palate, the Brooklyn is nice and smooth, easy-drinking, and well-balanced.

I don't know how true this is to the definition of "Oktoberfest", but I like this Brooklyn a lot. Its full enough to know you're drinking real beer, but smooth enough that I would enjoy drinking several of these.
