Eli and Jim Koch
Owner of The Boston Beer Co.

Meet Eli (aka Elliot)By day, he works for an Italian wine importer and distributor. He travels the state of Connecticut showing retailers and restaurateurs a portfolio of fine Italian wine. But when he's done with work for the day there's a glass of wine or craft beer on the table.

Eli and Giovanni Manetti
owner of Az. Agr. Fontodi
Growing up in Eastern Pennsylvania, Eli's hometown area has a huge variety of craft breweries to choose from. Living in Connecticut these days, the world of craft beer seems to be growing exponentially. As much as he loves fine wine, he also has a major obsession with craft beer. Through TheCorkStopsHere, Eli documents his journey through the world of booze. Some will be good, some will be great, and undoubtedly some will be mediocre. Eli is not getting paid to write these blog posts, he's just trying to spread the good word about good beer and good wine.

Meet Dallas (aka Stephen) - Dallas first got into craft beer shortly after turning 21 during his junior year of college. He initially joined RateBeer because he tried some random beer that was just so terrible he felt compelled to tell people not to drink it. Dallas met Eli in the summer of 2011 after placing some orders from the store Eli was managing.  After a few email conversations, Eli promised him a few beers if he ever made it up to Connecticut (and still owes him those beers). After graduating college in May 2012, Dallas made the pilgrimage to Belgium to sample the beers and got to drink a lot of sours and lambics (Cantillon, Rodenbach, etc.) and local witbiers.

Since then, Dallas has been studying to be a brewer through the Siebel Institute of Technology/World Brewing Academy and he's trying to find a job in the beer and wine industry. Dallas has reviewed close to 500 beers on RateBeer since joining (as of July 11, 2012) and plans to review many, many more. But he would much rather talk about beer than himself…
