Buffalo Bill's Brewery - Pumpkin Ale

My beer salesman recommended this one highly. For a new, and tasty pumpkin beer, this was his domestic brew choice. I've never had a Buffalo Bill beer before tonight, and the bottle says its brewed by Pyramid Brewing, which I have had before.

This is only 5.2% abv, and I probably should have tried this before the Dogfish. After the nine percent in that last beer, I'm not tasting much of anything. Let's give it a few minutes and see what happens...

Light in color, and lighter in flavor than my last sampling. This has a hint of pumpkin, but not much. It has a little more malty sweetness than I expected. The foam dissipates quickly, but a light fizz persists the entire beer.
Some spice, I'm thinking more nutmeg than anything else, but maybe a little cinnamon too? Tasty, but light and easy drinking. Sorry Neil, I was expecting more from this one.
